Overall supervision of work of Deputy Accountant General (Fund & Pension) & Deputy Accountant General (Accounts) i.e. work related to G.P Fund and Accounts & Pension Wing. Compilation of working papers for presentation before PAC/DAC and compliance of directives of PAC/DAC. Supervision of timely preparation of Accounts and related financial reports and processing of various accounts related matters with AG offices, EAD, FTO and Banks besides maintaining updated database of all types related to the accounting circles of AGPR according to prescribed regulation and procedures within the prescribed timelines. To supervise preparation of Appropriation accounts, annual financial statements of Federal Government and disseminates information to MOF/CGA. To supervise all types of reconciliations with Government departments and EAD (Receipts, repayment and disbursements of Foreign Aid/Grant/Loan). Assistance to Finance Division by deputing budget party in preparation of Annual Budget of Federal Government. Supervise preparation of progress reports and annual consolidated abstracts of exchange accounts.
